In 1999 I had the opportunity to treat in my clinic of Bejuma, 45 minutes west of Carabobo State, in Venezuela, a patient 65 years old who suffered from chronic bronchitis for 10 years as a consequence of being asthmatic her whole life, and a smoker for some years when younger. Mrs. MM complained of several very annoying symptoms:

- Permanent respiratory difficulty, even while resting
- Pruritus, itchy eyes, nose and ears (state of chronic allergy)
- Constant rhinitis with burning, itchiness, frequent sneezing, and permanent nasal discharge (rhinorhea).

- The skin was delicate, weak and fragile, like onion peel, peeling permanently.
- The bones were osteoporotic, fragile, ached frequently, and made movement difficult.
- Problems controlling her level of glycemia or sugar in the blood, as consequence of the steroids.

This was the history and condition of Mrs. MM when she came to my office. I focused on giving her an exclusively natural treatment. We set some steps as part of the treatment plan:

1- Progressive changes of lifestyle, eating habits, positive thinking, enthusiasm for life, contact with nature and moderate exercise.
2- As an expectorant and cough suppressant I used JENGIMIEL looking for a product to treat the central point of the problem which was in the patient’s bronchial tubes.
3- The rest of the treatment included a combination of therapeutic diet, medicinal plants, nebulizors with aromatherapy and therapeutic massage to improve the respiratory capacity.
